With each director assigned a letter of the alphabet, they were then given free rein in choosing a word to create a story involving a tale of mortality. It’s an alphabetical arsenal of destruction orchestrated by some of the most exciting names in global horror.
US distributor Magnolia has acquired the Norwegian action-adventure film RAGNAROK from TrustNordisk. Magnolia concluded the deal based on a 3-minute promo shown during the European Film Market in Berlin.
Written and birected by Kern Saxton and Destin Pfaff and starring Tony Todd, Mark Hamill, Noah Hathaway, James Duval and Andy Mackenzie, Sushi Girl will be available on DVD and Blu-yay February 19th, 2013.
Inspired by children's educational books, the feature is comprised of 26 individual chapters, each helmed by a different director assigned a letter of the alphabet. The directors were given free reign to choose a word to represent a form of death based on their letter.
Starring Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Olga Kurylenko and Javier Bardem, this stunningly beautiful film reunites acclaimed filmmaker Malick with producers Sarah Green and Nicolas Gonda, as well as cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki who all collaborated with him on Tree of Life and The New World.
