EAST OF WEST is a full-color, ongoing series starting on March 27, 2013. Issue #1 (JAN130468) and #2 (FEB130440) are available for pre-order now in the January issue of Previews. A promotional poster will arrive in comic book stores on February 27.
The second book in Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s comic book series was released in 2010 and used as the basis for the upcoming film Kick-Ass 2 which Universal Pictures has scheduled to hit theaters this summer. Now, Millar has confirmed that KICK-ASS 3 will be the final chapter in the story.
Writer Tim Seeley has revealed that his notorious Image Comics series Hack/Slash will come to an end with issue #25, wrapping up it's last arc entitled 'Final', beginning this November with a five-issue run.
Creatively, Image Comics still reigns #1 with their hard hitting, adult oriented series offering; but, surprisingly, one of the 'Big Two' publishers had a tremendous impact on me this year with three phenomenal titles by genius writers.

Coming off a whirlwind release day the week of Comic-Con International and supported by special events at comic book stores around the country, THE WALKING DEAD #100 by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard will receive a second printing after selling out of its record-setting first printing. At 383,612 copies, the sales of THE WALKING DEAD #100 were the best initial orders for a single issue of a comic book since 1997.
